FAQ
The Green Man is an ancient symbol of rebirth and the start of the growth cycle. He has been found in many forms throughout history and his familiar foliage covered face is often found in medieval churches and religious buildings. He is seen as a bridge between the Pagan and Christian worlds. He has also been known as “Jack in the Green” and “John Barleycorn”. He can also represent a figure who is an environmental guardian of the forests and woodland.
